Editing, Proofreading and Publishing:

New Ground Communications offers to edit documents in English and prepare them for in house publication.  Since we are not a publishing company as such, we cannot, unfortunately, consider publishing such documents ourselves.  We are happy to receive business, government or corporate documents which require editing and proofreading, prior to publication.

New Ground Communications specialises in English language services such as proofreading, editing, and writing for both businesses and individuals.

All our members have vast experience in the field of language solutions.

In all cases a free quotation will be supplied prior to the commencement of any editing work. All communications are strictly confidential.

Services offered:

Proofreading, Editing & Rewriting:

Ngc will check spelling, basic grammar and layout: R20.00 per 300 word page. ($4.50 outside RSA).

Editing:

NGC will provide basic proof-reading and consistency, grammar, sentence construction, wordiness, basic diction correction and basic cross-referencing: R30-00 per 300 word page. ($6.00 outside RSA).

Re-Writing:

NGC will provide editing plus content revision including diction improvement, flow, style, tone, register, atmosphere, intention and all cross-referencing: R60-00 per 300 word page. ($12.00 outside RSA).

Commissioned Writing:

R300-00 per 300 word page plus briefing fee at R300 per hour (Excluding course development, course refinement, research and other types of consulting work for which fee can be discussed).

Translation:

Afrikaans to English: R90-00 per 300 word page.

These Prices are negotiable depending on the length of the document.
